Have you ever thrown a marker bouy and had what seemed like an entire town move in and fish around it? Well, with the Global Map 4000 GPS one no longer needs that marker bouy. As most GPS units have most of the same features, the Lowrance Global Map is what I rely on to mark that spot so I do not need a bouy. Just one touch of the icon button and you have that bouy on your screen. By having the GPS set on the plotter screen, you can stay in the exact same area by just following the trail left on your screen. A very important tool to keeping those rods bending.
