Product of the Week:
The legendary Lindy fishing tackle company has again hit the market with some great new additions to their already impressive line up. For you lindy rig anglers, the new No-Snagg Cent'r slip sinker is exciting. Shaped like Lindy's original No-Snagg Slip Sinker, the new-for-'06 No-Snagg Cent'r Slip Sinker allows through-the-center line feed for tighter-to-the-bottom rig fishing. This No-Snagg, in-line approach is vegetation-resistant and reduces line wear. Attach this to the No-Snagg swivel and now the combination allows you to fish in areas that typically snag you all day long. An orange/chartreuse color combo adds attraction to the Cent'r Slip - a potent option when slip-sinker rigging with live bait or plastics in weedy terrain! For a more subtle presentation try the black/blue pattern.
Then we have the new Lindy Rig X-treme additions. The Lindy Rig X-treme is the easy answer to pro-style "tie your own" Lindy Rigs. When fine points count, you've got 'em here - complete with chartreuse attractor bead and Bleeding Bait red hook. A Lindy Walking Sinker and 42" light low-viz mono leader offer the proven no-feel, anti-spook Lindy Rig advantage. The Lindy Rig X-Treme snell is pre-tied onto a No-Snagg swivel. Available in minnow (#2 hook) and crawler/leech (#4 hook) models.
Then to top things off, Lindy has announced the acquisition of the assets of Tamer Fishing Products. With the recent acquistion of Drift Control and now Tamer drift bags, Lindy represents the undisputed leader in the drift control catagory. Understanding that on many days the smallest details make the difference in catching fish or not, one of the largest mistakes made is speed control. So, if the days of throwing the five gallon bucket off the front of the boat just seem to be a losing battle, get yourself a drift bag and turn that battle into a battle with endless Walleye action.
