SUNRISE GUIDE SERVICE DETAILS

All guide trips include bait, use of guide's boat and fish cleaning. Customers should bring Minnesota Fishing License, beverages of choice, rain gear, sunscreen, and camera.

The Service:
Sunrise guide service is an independent guide service in association with the Northern Minnesota League of Guides. The trips offered include most lakes in the Grand Rapids/Itasca County Area, along with trips down to Mille Lacs, and to Lake of the Woods and Red Lake to the North. We will arrange a meeting place as transportation is included to and from the lake.

The Trip:
Catching limits of fish is great, but there much more to these outings then that. Offering the "secrets of the Pro's" or on the water seminar is what it will seem like. From fish movements, to tackle techniques and keys to boat handling, one should gain knowledge to help make your personal outings much more successful. You will get a hands-on opportunity to fish with a Lund 1800 ProV which is the best ride on the water, St. Croix Rods and Daiwa Reels.

Then see how to use and operate the latest in Lowrance GPS and Vexilar Electronics. All of the bait and tackle will be included, so one does not have to research what's working for bait and tackle. Shorelunch? Have you ever experienced a Northern Minnesota Shorelunch? We offer them on full day trips. A few fresh fillets, potato's and beans all cooked over an open flame, you be asking for more, I'll bet. Adult beverages are welcomed, but please use them wisely as I would like to keep everyone reminded of the purpose of the outing.

The Kids:
There is no better way to get the Kids "hooked on fishing", then spending quality time in the boat having fun with the ones they love and admire most. We encourage family outings, but ask to allow us to set the kids towards the abilities and interestes of the kids. By keeping the rods bending it should ensure that they have fun and will keep them coming back for more in the years to come.

Custom Service:
Sunrise Guide Service offers night fishing trips. Are you looking for that Trophy walleye? This is your opportunity. From the end of June through the last full moon of October, we are chasing those ten pounders. Its a great time to sit back and watch the exploding Northerns Lights and feel the pounding of big walleyes on the end of your line.
